Looking for a fun and quick way to engage your children in the shabbos preparations? Here is a quick parsha treat that your 8+ year old child can do on her/his own.
Here's what you will need:
Cupcakes (we used a vanilla cake mix for the cupcake batter)
Frosting
Blue Food Coloring
Rainbow Sour Belts
What To Do:
Set aside some white frosting to use as the clouds.
Add blue food coloring to the remainder of the frosting.
Spread a thin layer of blue frosting over the top of the cupcake.
Make two indentations with a knife in the area that the rainbow belts will be inserted.
Cut the rainbow belts leaving room for the belts to be inserted into the cupcake for support.
Place the white frosting in a ziplock bag and make a small hole at the corner.
Pipe some white frosting around the base of the rainbow.
Watch video below for a quick tutorial.
And there you have it!! A super simple parsha dessert!!
You are SO CREATIVE!!! The way these rainbows are curving upwards is so eye catching and just begging to be eaten!
